Sculptor | Artist | Educator

Hello & Welcome
Hello! My name is Holly Jensen, and I am currently undertaking a BA Joint Honours in Fine Art & Education at the National College of Art & Design.
I specialise in sculpture, with a particular interest in identity, memory, historical events, nostalgia, and community.
My practice explores experimental processes with a focus on cost effective, sustainable, and recyclable materials. I particularly enjoy working with everyday objects in unexpected ways, from casting with cling film and cellotape to incorporating mixed media such as papier-mâché.
My current project centres on endometriosis, where I am working with materials such as bedsheets and embroidery to explore themes of the body, care, and lived experience.
Alongside my studio practice, I am a proud educator and have completed four teaching placements in a range of educational settings. I have a deep passion for both art and art history, and I strongly believe that a child’s education and the teachers who guide them, play a vital role in shaping their future.
This website serves as a space to showcase my portfolio, document my ongoing projects, and share insights into my development as both an artist and educator. I invite you to explore my work, follow my progress, and engage with the ideas that shape my practice.
